Red Fort Blast: Traffic Sent Bomber on Detour from Original Target!

New Delhi is once again grappling with chilling revelations as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has unveiled the intricate details behind the devastating Red Fort blast of November 10, 2025, an attack that tragically claimed eleven lives. The recently filed chargesheet paints a grim picture, disclosing that the iconic Red Fort was not the bomber's initial target. Instead, the terror plot originally aimed at the Lal Mandir.

According to the NIA's findings, the bomber was compelled to alter his plans due to heavy traffic and a significant police presence near the Lal Mandir. This unforeseen obstacle led him to reroute, ultimately detonating the explosive device near Red Fort Gate No. 4.

The investigation has confirmed that this incident marked the first-ever vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) attack reported in the national capital, highlighting a disturbing escalation in terror tactics. The chargesheet identifies Dr.

Umar un Nabi as the primary orchestrator and perpetrator, alleging that he personally detonated the IED.

Nabi is accused of reviving an Al-Qaeda-linked Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) module, which was responsible for planning and executing the attack. The terrorists reportedly chose the Red Fort because they perceived it as a "symbol of the Indian state," aiming to inflict maximum symbolic and human damage. Further unsettling details from the NIA's probe reveal the bomber's unusual and macabre methods.

While hiding in Nuh, Umar un Nabi reportedly stored his urine in polythene bags, a detail that came to light after a foul smell prompted a house owner's complaint. The NIA discovered PDF material on Nabi's pen drives detailing the preparation of urea nitrate explosives using, among other things, urine.

These revelations underscore the calculated and desperate measures taken by the perpetrators in their heinous plot.

The remote detonation of the device, facilitated by a mechanism fitted into Nabi's shoe, further illustrates the sophisticated nature of this act of terror.
