Oasis Live '27 World Tour Sells Out: Fans Snatch All 42 Show Tickets!
Oasis's highly anticipated 2027 world tour, 'Oasis Live '27', has completely sold out, sparking frenzy and discussions around ticketing practices after past issues. Get the full story on the Britpop giants' return!
Britpop legends Oasis have once again demonstrated their enduring popularity, with all 42 live shows for their upcoming 2027 world tour, ‘Oasis Live ‘27’, selling out completely over the weekend. Tickets for concerts across Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, the US, and Ireland were snapped up by eager fans.
This overwhelming demand follows the success of their 'Oasis Live '25' reunion tour, which saw the Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, back on stage together. However, the previous tour was not without its controversies, as many fans encountered issues with varying ticket prices and scalping, leading to some tickets being resold for over £1,000.
These problems triggered a Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation into Ticketmaster's practices.
The CMA's probe found that Ticketmaster had not adequately informed fans about tiered pricing systems, where standing tickets were sold at different prices and costs would increase once cheaper options were gone. Following the investigation, Ticketmaster committed to providing 24-hour advance notice if tiered pricing is used, aiming for clearer communication regarding ticket prices in queues.
They welcomed the CMA's confirmation that no dynamic pricing or unfair practices were found, and no consumer law was breached.
To combat issues experienced in 2025, the ticketing process for the 2027 tour was structured to reduce waiting times and ensure fair access. Fans had to pre-register and were then randomly selected to receive a unique, non-transferable code for an allocated on-sale window.
Liam Gallagher celebrated the sell-out on X, posting,
That's all folks we have officially sold out no more tickets left congratulations to everyone who got a ticket and to the people who didn't sneak in f*** it yolo.
Standard ticket prices for the tour were fixed, ranging from £71.50 to £266.60. Due to immense demand, Oasis added four extra dates, including two at Knebworth on September 25 and 26, a legendary venue where they famously played to over 100,000 fans each night in August 1996. Fans are advised to remain vigilant against scams and only purchase resale tickets via Ticketmaster and Twickets, at the original price, closer to the tour dates.
The reunion of the band follows a long-standing feud between Liam and Noel, which reportedly led to their split in 2009 after a backstage altercation. Oasis boasts an impressive legacy of eight UK number-one singles and eight UK number-one albums, with hits like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” and “Roll With It” remaining fan favorites.
