Sad news for fans of "Sweet Magnolias" as Netflix has officially canceled the beloved romantic drama after five seasons. Creator and showrunner Sheryl J. Anderson shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, reflecting on the show's run and expressing gratitude to everyone involved.

"Living in Serenity for five seasons has been a privilege and a blessing," Anderson posted.

She extended her thanks to the "incredible writers, cast, crew, executives, and producers," acknowledging how they've touched her heart and changed her life. She also praised the amazing passion of the fans for the characters, adding, "Though our journey has sadly come to an end, I hope Serenity will always have a place in your heart.
