Phoebe Bridgers Launches 'Lost Weekend' Album with Global Planetarium Events! 🌌

Phoebe Bridgers is taking her fans on an interstellar journey with the release of her new album, "Lost Weekend." Ahead of its official launch on Friday, August 14th, via Dead Oceans, Bridgers is hosting a series of immersive listening events at planetariums across the globe.

Starting Monday, August 10th, participating planetariums will offer advance playbacks of the album. These phone-free sessions will feature a choice of two captivating visual presentations: a custom dome show meticulously designed by renowned night-sky photographer Babak Tafreshi, or an immersive laser show crafted by Laser Fantasy. Imagine listening to Bridgers' poignant lyrics under a cosmic canopy!

This unique experience is truly global, with events scheduled at over 40 planetariums spanning the US, Canada, Europe, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Notable venues include Chicago’s Adler Planetarium, San Francisco’s Morrison Planetarium, Paris’ Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, and the Melbourne Planetarium, with multiple screenings available at select locations through August 14th. Additionally, Bridgers and Spotify are co-hosting a special invitation-only listening event for select Spotify users in the Jersey City area.

Beyond these celestial gatherings, the album's arrival will also be celebrated with over 300 midnight release parties. These events will take place on Thursday, August 13th, at record stores and various locations across North and South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, ensuring fans worldwide can partake in the excitement.

"Lost Weekend" marks Phoebe Bridgers' first solo album since her critically acclaimed 2020 release, "Punisher."
