Blake Lively’s legal team has moved to sanction Justin Baldoni’s side after what they describe as deposition misconduct, including disruptive behavior and questions about Lively’s personal life that they say were irrelevant to her harassment and retaliation lawsuit. The filings allege that Baldoni’s attorneys laughed, talked over witnesses, and displayed a lack of basic decorum during depositions.
Separately, both parties are being urged to attend a February settlement meeting in person, a step that could shape the ongoing legal battle tied to the case against Baldoni and others from the It Ends With Us circle.
Lively, who stars in and produced the film adaptation of It Ends With Us, sued Baldoni, her costar and director, in December 2024. The move to seek sanctions underscores the high tensions as discovery progresses and arguments over how the proceedings should be conducted intensify.
