Tove Spring 2027: Lighter, Joyful Designs for the Modern Woman!

For Spring 2027, designers Camille Perry and Holly Wright envisioned Tove with a renewed sense of lightness and joy. “We just wanted to bring a bit of joy into the collection,” Wright explained during a preview, highlighting pieces like an icy aqua satin minidress and a vibrant yolk-yellow silk. The focus is on creating summery collections that truly feel like summer, emphasizing color, fabrication, and designs that women genuinely desire to wear.
This real-life wearability, a hallmark of Tove, has been further refined this season. The classic interplay between masculine and feminine elements is evident in low-slung, fold-over waistbands on trousers, skirts, and shorts, reminiscent of cummerbunds or
like you've got your boyfriend's trousers on and they're too big, so you fold them over,
Wright elaborated.
The collection features deep-V knits, fluid satin camisoles, elegantly draped string halter necks, and romantic twisted cotton tops, where boyish charm meets confident sexiness.
Materiality plays a key role, with a crisp summer-weight wool suit and substantial cotton trousers sharpened by contrasting grosgrain ribbons. Low necklines on oversized knits and billowing silk shirts transform slouchy silhouettes into subtly charged statements.
Conscious of the potential for summer dressing to become overly frou-frou or boho, the designers introduced an oversized, organic paintbrush-like polka dot splashed across dresses and shirts. More intricate is an engineered white cotton embroidery, cut into clean, long dresses and separates, with Perry noting, “The weight of the cotton adds modernity to it.”
Tove's signature clean silhouettes ensure the craft shines without unnecessary whimsy, allowing the woman to be seen rather than overshadowed by the clothing. Texture adds further depth, from tactile “muesli” yarns in salt-and-pepper knits for a fun, fringed dress, to sheer black embroidery layered over a saturated yellow-orange bralette and silk-satin pants.
A featherlight silver lamé with a silk base, described as resembling “little silver raindrops,” appears in separates and a minimal evening dress. The more decorative the material, the simpler the silhouette, a formula that makes Tove's eveningwear prized for its effortless elegance.
The collection also excels at solving everyday wardrobe dilemmas, elevating basics into elevated essentials. Satin runner shorts and camisoles effortlessly transition from day to night, while relaxed drawstring trousers feature practical jet pockets borrowed from tailoring.
Denim is a growing category for the brand, with the softly distressed, slouchy Sofie jean designed to capture the appeal of vintage pants but with a more assured fit for the contemporary woman. “We all live in jeans,” Wright stated, emphasizing the reality of modern high-low dressing. The Sofie jean proved a top seller during the brand's Mayfair residency last year.
The consistent theme throughout this collection, as repeatedly highlighted by Perry and Wright, is “ease.”
We want you to see the vision, see the look and be like, 'I want to be her.'
Wright affirmed, suggesting that any woman can embody this spirit with a few Tove separates.
