Tom Cruise, the iconic actor, has officially announced a highly anticipated follow-up to his 1990 racing classic, “Days of Thunder.” Making the exciting revelation from Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Cruise confirmed he will once again ignite the screen as the legendary NASCAR driver Cole Trickle. The upcoming sequel is set to hit theaters on June 2, 2028, distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Joining Cruise in this adrenaline-fueled production is acclaimed actress Anne Hathaway, who will portray a team owner and engineer.
