Goldstein, who has reprised his role as the former player-turned-assistant coach in the show's fourth season, shared his personal journey with Men’s Health UK. He explained that before "Ted Lasso" became a global phenomenon, earning him two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy, he was "depressed." By day 30 of doing that, you've started training your brain to look for the positive, and I could write a list of 100 things,
" he explained, adding, "I'm the luckiest guy in the world!
Everything's f * * amazing!'”
"Ted Lasso" first aired in 2020 and quickly garnered critical acclaim, becoming the most-nominated first-season comedy in Emmy history.
