RSS Chief Bhagwat: World Won't Exist Without Hindus, Says in Manipur
Mohan Bhagwat urged unity during his Manipur visit, claiming Hindu identity is vital to the world and advocating dialogue within the constitutional framework to ease regional tensions rooted in colonial policies.
In Imphal, during a meeting with tribal leaders, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said the world would not exist without Hindus and cited the community’s enduring identity, invoking the poet Iqbal. He urged unity, character-building, and peace, stressing that solutions should come through dialogue based on oneness and within the constitutional framework.
He added that the RSS is purely dedicated to strengthening society and should work within India's laws, with emphasis on harmony rather than confrontation, especially in volatile Manipur.
Bhagwat also touched on historical roots of regional tensions, noting colonial policies as a factor, and urged people to seek common ground in shared civilisational values to maintain the country’s unity and resilience.
