Indian Official Found Dead at High Commission in Bangladesh: What We Know

A tragic incident has come to light from the Indian mission in Bangladesh, where an Assistant Protocol Officer was found dead on Tuesday morning. Naren Dhar, who was in his late 30s, was discovered unresponsive inside the Assistant High Commission premises in the port city of Chattogram.

According to local reports, the discovery was made on the second floor of the old visa center building. Dhar was found lying near a bathroom door early in the morning. Local authorities were immediately notified, and the Chattogram Metropolitan Police have since secured the area to begin their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing.

While the exact cause of death is still being determined, preliminary observations by the police suggest that he might have suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during the night.
