Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has announced a significant change to his show's programming: an interview with Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico will not air on broadcast television as planned. Instead, viewers will only be able to watch the segment on YouTube.

Kimmel revealed this unusual decision during his Wednesday monologue, attributing it to alleged threats from President Donald Trump's Federal Communications Commission (FCC) against "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", ABC, their affiliates, and local stations. Kimmel expressed surprise at the situation, noting that he has interviewed numerous political figures throughout his more than 20 years in late-night television, including Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, and even Donald Trump himself when he was a presidential candidate in 2015.
