Bill Gates has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein. He has said his interactions with Epstein were limited to a few dinners and that he did not visit Epstein’s island. A Gates spokesperson dismissed one specific claim in the files—an allegation that Epstein had claimed Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease—as utterly absurd.
The couple separated in 2021 after 27 years of marriage, and Melinda added that she’s glad to be away from “the muck.” She also stressed that the lingering questions about the Epstein matter should be directed at those named in the records, not at her.
