Yadav is contesting from the Mahua constituency, having formed Janshakti Dal after his expulsion from the Rashtriya Janata Dal earlier this year. He previously accused rivals of conspiring to drive a wedge between him and his younger brother, Tejashwi Yadav, and he even referenced traitors in his social media posts before deleting one after claiming his page had been hacked.
The remarks come as Bihar politics intensifies, with analysts watching for any shift in alliances ahead of the polls. Yadav congratulated his brother Tejashwi on his birthday, wishing him well and urging continued growth for their family’s political influence. He also drew attention to a recent airport meeting with BJP MP Ravi Kishan, which sparked speculation about alliances and strategic moves.
