US Strikes Expand, Children's Hospital Evacuated in Escalating Iran Conflict!
Tensions in the Middle East reach critical levels as US airstrikes expand across Iran. Allegations emerge of an attack near a children's cancer hospital, forcing a mass evacuation and sparking global outrage.
The conflict between the United States and Iran has reached a dangerous new phase, with both nations engaging in expanded strikes for the fifth consecutive day. Amidst these escalating tensions, Iran has leveled a grave accusation against the US, claiming a “barbaric attack” occurred near a children's cancer hospital in Ahvaz, in the country's southwest. According to Iranian officials, the Shahid Baqaei Hospital was forced to evacuate 211 child cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, leading to “severe suffering and anxiety” for the young patients and their families.
Esmail Baghaei, the Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson, condemned the alleged incident on social media, likening it to “Israel's atrocities against healthcare facilities” and branding it a “cowardly war crime against the most innocent of human beings, children who are bravely fighting for their lives.” The United States has yet to issue a comment regarding this specific allegation.
The reciprocal strikes highlight a rapidly deteriorating situation in the Middle East. Beyond the alleged hospital incident, Iranian state media also reported explosions in various northern and southern cities, indicating a widespread US military campaign. Concurrently, Iran has reportedly targeted US military facilities and interests in neighboring countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.
Further escalating the maritime domain, the US military has also confirmed disabling a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil shipments.
