Commercial operations at the highly anticipated Noida International Airport in Jewar have officially kicked off in full swing, marking a significant milestone for regional connectivity and infrastructure in the National Capital Region (NCR). This mega greenfield project has now transitioned into a bustling aviation reality.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated the historic event, flagging off the very first flights. The airport witnessed its inaugural arrival from Lucknow, quickly followed by a scheduled departure to Bengaluru, signaling the commencement of regular air services. The domestic terminal was abuzz with palpable excitement, as passengers began boarding for various routes, including Amritsar.
The atmosphere was celebratory, with many witnessing this landmark moment for NCR infrastructure.
