What’s Coming to Netflix in May 2026: All New Titles to Watch

May 2026 on Netflix is shaping up to be a crowded month, with a mix of high-profile premieres, returning favorites, and surprise releases. Among the biggest premieres is Legends, the crime series led by Steve Coogan, from Guilt creator Neil Forsyth. It’s joined by an adaptation of the book Remarkably Bright Creatures, marking Sally Field’s screen return, and the second season of the hit comedy-drama The Four Seasons, which first debuted in 2025. Also on the slate is a new documentary about Martin Short, and an intriguing new show titled The Boroughs. The Boroughs is described as a science-fiction series from the Stranger Things creators, the Duffer Brothers, following residents of a retirement community as they confront an otherworldly threat that steals the one thing they don’t have: time. The cast includes Bill Pullman, Geena Davis, Clarke Peters, Alfred Molina, and Alfre Woodard.

Perhaps the most exciting addition will be Everyone Is Doing Great, the US coming-of-age comedy that started in 2021. Its second season will finally stream globally on Netflix, picking up five years after the end of a fan-favorite vampire drama, Eternal, as Seth and Jeremy navigate life and love.

Beyond these, Netflix is releasing a wave of originals and licensed titles this May. Original films include Glory, My Dearest Señorita, Son-in-Law, Swapped, and My Dearest Assassin, along with the May 8 release of Remarkably Bright Creatures, the May 22 release of Ladies First, and a May 31 tribute event to Eddie Murphy. TV titles include Dr Seuss’s Horton! season two, with more new series joining the slate throughout the month.
