The highly anticipated trailer for the crime-thriller "Daayra," featuring Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, has been recently unveiled. Directed by the acclaimed Meghna Gulzar, known for her gripping narratives in films like "Talvar," "Raazi," and "Sam Bahadur," "Daayra" promises an intense journey inspired by true events.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on September 18, in both Hindi and Malayalam.

The trailer plunges viewers straight into a chilling crime scene involving the disappearance of a young girl, setting a dark and intriguing tone. At the heart of the story are two contrasting law enforcement officers: DCP Raman Kumar, portrayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, and DCP Ajooni Kohli, played by Kareena Kapoor Khan.
