Raja Saab’s worldwide box office run on day five shows the film earning Rs 4.85 crore in India, a figure that sits behind the festival-timed surge of Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu. The domestic tally, across five languages, started with an opening day of Rs 53.75 crore and now, including Thursday’s Telugu preview shows worth Rs 9.15 crore, pushes India’s total to Rs 119.45 crore.
The Telugu original form of Raja Saab leads the language-wise haul with Rs 87 crore, followed by the Hindi-dubbed version at Rs 18 crore, Tamil at Rs 7.13 crore, Kannada at Rs 23 lakh, and Malayalam at Rs 10 lakh.
Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu opened with Rs 32.25 crore on its opening day and followed with Rs 19.50 crore on Tuesday. In contrast, Raja Saab’s Telugu version stood at about Rs 47 crore for its opening, roughly Rs 15 crore more than Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu. The festival lineup explains much of the contrast: Mana ShankaraVaraprasad Garu released on Monday, two days before Sakranthi, while The Raja Saab hit screens on the Friday before the festival, giving it a three-day weekend headstart but facing tougher weekday competition.
Across the markets, the box-office race remains tight as the festival period continues. Fans and trade watchers are watching which film maintains momentum in the coming days, with both Prabhas and Chiranjeevi harnessing strong star power to drive attendance.
