The rumor suggests RUSH could be performing 16-18 shows at the futuristic venue. Eddie Trunk, a respected industry insider, initially shared on his SiriusXM show that he'd heard the deal was more or less "done." He later clarified on social media that while his sources are trusted, the news remains unconfirmed. Interestingly, Trunk also recalled that guitarist Alex Lifeson wasn't initially keen on touring or a Sphere residency, though that was before the band's current activities.

A late 2027 stint at the Sphere would conveniently fall after their international commitments and also after Metallica's extensive residency, which runs until March 2027. Notably, there are no Las Vegas dates on RUSH's current tour itinerary, which further piques curiosity.
