Sinthanai Selvan, VCK general secretary, argued that Vijay's post-election approach risks alienating potential partners and could hand the BJP a backdoor through the Governor's route. He urged Vijay to reach out personally to VCK and other allies, rather than relying on second-tier intermediaries.
TVK's stance comes as DMK lawmakers prepared to take immediate political decisions, with Stalin authorized to act as the political situation evolves. TVK has reportedly warned it may mass resign 107 MLAs if DMK or AIADMK pushes to form a government without TVK's backing.
