Jagan's DSC Remarks Show 'Political Desperation', Says Health Minister!

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has sharply criticized YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, labeling his recent comments on the DSC teacher recruitment process as signs of "political desperation." According to Minister Satya Kumar, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is struggling to come to terms with the progress being made under the new NDA government in the state.

The Minister emphasized the strong unity among the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena Party, stating that Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy's "distorted remarks" cannot weaken this coalition. He urged the former Chief Minister to demonstrate courage by attending the Legislative Assembly and engaging in debates on crucial public issues, rather than making statements from outside the legislative chambers.

Specifically addressing Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy's allegations of irregularities in the DSC recruitment, Mr. Satya Kumar questioned his reluctance to participate in a discussion within the Legislative Assembly.

This challenge has been repeatedly extended by HRD Minister Nara Lokesh.

If you are asked to come to the Assembly for a discussion, you do not come. You lack the courage to face the people, but continue to criticise the government and BJP outside,

the Health Minister stated.

He stressed that it is the responsibility of an opposition leader to raise public issues in the House and respond to the government's arguments.

Mr. Satya Kumar further challenged Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy to present his case regarding DSC recruitment and the challenges faced by unemployed youth directly in the Assembly. He underscored that the current coalition government received its mandate from the people and its constituent parties are dedicated to the State's development.

The Minister also took a jab at Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy's past remarks about becoming a "cockroach," finding it ironic for a leader to speak in such terms when his own five-year tenure had plunged the State into significant debt and caused injustice to the youth. "People have not forgotten the past.

They know who did what, and you cannot cover up the failures of your rule," Mr. Satya Kumar asserted. He reiterated that Mr.

Nara Lokesh is ready for a debate and that the delay is clearly from Mr.

Jagan Mohan Reddy's side, urging him to come forward so "the truth be established before the people."
