In Tiruvallur, the district administration launched a voter awareness campaign to promote 100 percent participation in the upcoming Assembly poll. The Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign was inaugurated with an oath ceremony by the Tiruvallur Collector M. Prathap. A selfie booth at Science Park was unveiled as part of the effort, inviting residents to pledge to cast their ballots.
The rollout signals a broader push to educate voters about the electoral process, clarify how and where to vote, and counter misinformation. Officials stressed inclusive outreach across urban and rural pockets and emphasized a peaceful, informed voting culture that strengthens democratic participation.
