Donald Trump has weighed in on the ongoing rift within the British Royal Family, openly criticizing Prince Harry's treatment of his brother, Prince William, and labeling Meghan Markle a "horrible influence" on the Duke of Sussex. In an interview with GB News, the former US president stated that if he were King Charles, he "would not have taken them back" into the fold.

Trump specifically targeted Harry's memoir, "Spare," calling it "very terrible" for its revelations about Prince William. He remarked, "The things he said, I wouldn't... I mean, it's just me.

I'm sure I'm wrong on this, but I would not have taken him back.

I would have never spoken to him again." His strong comments underscore the deep public and personal divisions surrounding the Sussexes' departure from royal duties.

The relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry has been notably strained since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opted to step down from the Royal Family in 2020 and relocate to California. The brothers are believed to have not spoken in several years and their last public appearance together was at King Charles's coronation in 2023.

Although they reportedly reunited privately at their uncle's funeral in August 2024, reports suggest they did not interact.

Referring to the couple's decision to exit the UK, Mr. Trump told the broadcaster that Harry and Meghan had done "too many horrible things" to warrant an easy return. He added, "First of all, I think King Charles is fantastic, he's a friend of mine.
