PM Modi: Youth Power and Innovation Drive India's 'Viksit Bharat'
Modi, in Mann Ki Baat, hails India's youth as the driving force behind Viksit Bharat, highlighting bee farming, space milestones, and the 2030 Commonwealth Games bid.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the dedication of India's youth as the greatest strength of 'Viksit Bharat' during the 128th episode of Mann Ki Baat. He pointed to a string of recent achievements across diverse sectors—from space manufacturing to agriculture—and recalled November's landmark moments, including the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram and Constitution Day celebrated at the Central Hall, along with the Dharmadhwaja hoisted atop the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The prime minister stressed that these milestones reflect India’s new thinking, innovation, and youth power.
He also drew attention to bee farming initiatives unfolding across the country, underscoring how rural livelihoods can be strengthened through modern apiculture and related value chains, alongside progress in sports and national achievements on the global stage.
On the space and defense front, Modi celebrated the inauguration of the world’s largest LEAP engine MRO facility in Hyderabad and the induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy. He noted Skyroot Aerospace’s Infinity Campus as a boost to India’s space ecosystem, signaling a broader push to empower young engineers and scientists.
A video showcasing ISRO’s drone competition—where Gen Z students attempted Mars-like drone flights using cameras and in-built software in the absence of GPS—was highlighted as a vivid example of creative problem-solving and resilience. Modi recalled the Chandrayaan-2 setback and how scientists rebuilt confidence to achieve Chandrayaan-3, framing failure as a stepping stone toward success.
The prime minister urged continued faith in experimentation and the courage to learn from disappointments, saying the spark visible in today’s youth mirrors the energy he sees whenever he meets young innovators, scientists, and teams across the country. He reiterated that such dedication and optimism are central to realizing a vibrant, self-reliant India.
