Kangana Ranaut Slams CJP Protests: "Anti-National Forces" Exposed!
BJP MP Kangana Ranaut blasts CJP protesters as "anti-national" after Delhi police crackdown, calling the agitation a "conspiracy" to destabilize India.
Actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has once again sparked controversy, labeling participants in the ongoing Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protests across the country as “anti-national forces.” Her remarks came just hours after Delhi Police carried out a significant crackdown, detaining over 4,000 protesters, including Opposition leaders, in the capital city.
Ranaut claims the agitation is a deliberate “conspiracy” designed to destabilize India.
She asserted that people are now beginning to recognize those she believes are attempting to put the nation in peril.
"Look at how people are now exposing these anti-national forces.
Leave the police aside, now ordinary people too will catch them and demand answers from them because people have started recognising them,” she told PTI.
The protests demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, an issue that gained prominence following an investigation. While Ranaut lauded "forces" protecting the country, she also stressed the importance of minimizing inconvenience to citizens, especially after train cancellations, metro station shutdowns, and road blocks around the Jantar Mantar protest site.
This isn't the first time Ranaut has taken aim at the CJP. She previously criticized their July protests at Jantar Mantar, which led to the resignation of then-Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over leaked NEET papers.
At that time, she infamously referred to Gen-Z protesters as a "gutter generation," defending her comment by stating,
Those who call themselves cockroaches, and we say that cockroaches emerge from gutters, what is wrong with that?
She further described the previous protests as "ugliness," their Instagram Reels as "puke-inducing," and their language as "jarring" and "crass." Ranaut also extended her criticism to "young Hindu women" whom she claimed were neither financially independent nor good homemakers, allegedly living off parents' money to indulge in drugs and alcohol. The political personality also engaged in a verbal spat with CJP leader Sourav Das, who questioned her relevance, to which Ranaut retorted by calling him "useless" and asserting her credentials as a multiple National Award-winning actor.
