Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that the second phase of monetary relief has commenced. This follows a comprehensive survey conducted to assess the losses incurred during the July floods across four districts. The survey has identified over 26,000 houses that suffered damage, highlighting the extensive impact on communities.
