Abakkus MF crosses ₹5,482 crore AUM, 1 Lakh investors in months
Abakkus Mutual Fund hits ₹5,482 crore AUM and welcomes over 100,000 investors within months of launching its first scheme, signaling rapid trust and expansion.
Abakkus Mutual Fund has crossed ₹5,482 crore in assets under management as of May 8, 2026, and now counts 1,00,702 investors across 2,001 locations and 9,573 pin codes. The surge comes less than six months after the fund house launched its first scheme in December 2025, signaling strong traction in a crowded mutual fund space.
Its maiden equity offering in the flexi-cap category drew ₹2,468 crore in its New Fund Offer, hinting at robust demand for the fund house’s research-led approach. Abakkus currently manages three schemes—a flexi-cap, a small-cap and a liquid fund—built around a disciplined portfolio construction framework, guided by its MEETS philosophy.
Sunil Singhania, founder of the fund house, has built the venture around a research-driven outlook, while Vaibhav Chugh, CEO, called the milestone encouraging and humbling, crediting the trust of investors and distribution partners. He outlined plans to expand market reach, deepen partner networks and diversify the product bouquet to meet varying investment needs.
Analysts say the milestone signals rising investor confidence in newer players and the value of a disciplined, risk-aware approach. Abakkus says it will continue strengthening its distribution footprint and adding products that cater to different risk appetites, aiming to sustain momentum beyond the current breakout quarter.
