In a separate decision, the Cabinet also cleared a ₹6,969-crore four-lane, access-controlled road project in Uttar Pradesh to improve connectivity. The project is expected to generate 36.54 lakh direct and 43.04 lakh indirect person-days of employment, underscoring the government's focus on infrastructure-led employment and regional development.
