Official death certificates confirm Rob Reiner and his wife Michele died inside their Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14, from multiple sharp force injuries caused by a knife wielded by another person. The documents indicate the time between injury and death was a matter of minutes, with Rob found at about 3:45 p.m. and Michele at 3:46 p.m., after which both were cremated.
Their son, Nick Reiner, 32, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths and is being held without bail.
