With MI struggling at 57/4 in eight overs, a complete washout would result in both teams sharing a point. While Mumbai’s season is effectively over, this rain delay is a massive blow to KKR, whose playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. If the points are split, KKR can only reach a maximum of 14 points, making their path to the next round extremely difficult.
