In Udaipur, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna tied the knot on Thursday, and amid rising gold prices, their jewellery quickly became the talking point. The entire collection was conceived and crafted over 10 months, with SHREE Jewellers detailing a bespoke journey from design discussions to final trials and fittings. The pieces are described as timeless and legacy-driven, meant to transcend generations.
Vijay wore a bold jewellery ensemble that included giant ear studs, a wrist cuff, two necklaces, ankle kadas and a ring on his little finger. His look was described as channeling the authority and presence of a mythic king, with elephant and tiger motifs and floral patterns adding a regal edge. The ensemble stands out in a setting where men’s jewellery is often limited, yet his adornments amplified a sovereign vibe for the big day.
Rashmika Mandanna’s jewellery complemented her look with 11 pieces that spanned a choker, jhumkas, jada billa, champasaralu, hathphool, mathapatti, nose pin, bangles, bajuband, waist belt and anklets. The jewellery was envisioned around the aura of a living Goddess, featuring an antique, heirloom-like finish designed to feel timeless. The designers emphasized that these pieces were created as enduring pieces meant to be cherished across generations.
