Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign, spoke at the rally on the National Mall and condemned the administration's treatment of the LGBTQ+ community: Such offenses were not politics, but all attacks were personal attacks, directed against families and communities. In Boston, protesters presented their views against cuts to Social Security, holding placards that read "Hands off our democracy" and "Hands off our Social Security." Mayor Wu expressed her feelings of concern that she did not want her children to grow up in a world governed by intimidation and divisive tactics.
