Some listings linked the image to a photographer named Matheus Ferrero, though the connection to the voter lists remains unverified.
Larissa, speaking in videos circulating online, expressed surprise at the attention and said the photo was taken years ago and she did not consent to it being used in a political claim. The online scramble has underscored how a single image can become a talking point in a larger debate about election integrity.
Observers note that Gandhi claimed about 25 lakh entries in Haryana’s voter list could be fake and described the incident as a centralized operation to steal votes.
