Faridabad Police Raid Al-Falah University as Delhi Car Blast Probe Deepens

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Faridabad police conducted several raids on Al-Falah University campus and carried out door-to-door searches in the nearby villages of Dhouj and Fatehpur Taga, seeking explosive materials and suspects connected to the Delhi car blast that killed at least 12 people on Monday (November 10, 2025).
The occupant of the car, Umar Nabi, who was killed in the blast, was a junior doctor at the university, while two other doctors who have been arrested were also working there.
The university issued a statement distancing itself from those accused, saying they were employees in their official capacities and had no connection with the alleged Faridabad terror module. Vice-Chancellor Bhupinder Kaur Anand stressed that the university laboratories are used solely for the academic and training requirements of MBBS students and other authorized courses, dispelling online rumors that chemicals or materials were stored on campus.
Two days after the blast, the campus remained tense and quiet, with heavy security and samosa and tea stalls deserted. A second-year student from the Pharmaceutical department told The Hindu that students fear telling people where they study and worry about safety.
Officials have described the Delhi explosion as a terrorist incident and pledged justice, as investigators pursue leads linked to the attack.
Two of the university's doctors have been detained by investigating agencies, while two other doctors who had been arrested were also working there, underscoring the ongoing probe into the incident.
