Reports indicate that court documents confirm Bear will inherit the pop star's fortune, which was initially valued at £28.6 million ($29 million) but was adjusted to £24.3 million after expenses and debts were settled following his death.
Liam Payne tragically passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 31, after a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While some funds are accessible now, the majority of the inheritance will be held in a trust until Bear reaches his 18th birthday, ensuring his financial future.
The administration of Payne's estate became necessary as he died without leaving a will. In accordance with British laws of intestacy, which dictate how assets are distributed in such cases, the estate typically passes to the closest blood relative or lawful spouse.
