Shocking Twist: Wife Allegedly Kills Husband with Toilet Cleaner After Failed Murder Attempt

In a chilling incident from Telangana, a Gulf returnee, D. Prashanth, who miraculously survived an initial murder attempt, was allegedly killed the very next day by his own wife. The accused, D. Sandhya, M. Anil, and Venkata Sai, have been arrested by the Nizamabad police, shedding light on a heinous conspiracy driven by betrayal.
Police reports indicate that Sandhya, Prashanth's wife, viewed him as an impediment to her relationship with Anil. The plot to eliminate Prashanth began shortly after his return from the Gulf on June 27. On June 29, Venkata Sai, an acquaintance, invited Prashanth for drinks. After consuming alcohol, Prashanth was taken to the terrace of a building and pushed from the first floor in what was intended to be a fatal fall. However, Prashanth survived the ordeal and was admitted to a hospital with injuries.
He was discharged the following day, still bearing a cannula in his hand from intravenous treatment. Fearing that Prashanth would expose the attempted murder, Sandhya, who works as a nurse, allegedly took advantage of the cannula. She injected sedatives and, shockingly, bathroom cleaning liquid directly into his bloodstream, leading to his death. To evade suspicion, Sandhya reportedly informed Prashanth's parents that he had died after falling from a cot at home.
Inconsistencies in the family's account, following the reporting of Prashanth's death on June 30, prompted a thorough police investigation. The probe quickly unraveled the alleged conspiracy, culminating in the arrests of Sandhya, Anil, and Venkata Sai on July 1. A case has been registered, and further investigation into this tragic and disturbing event is currently underway.
