CCTV footage from Bansur, Rajasthan, shows a violent gang confrontation as a Thar and a Swift ram into bikers and shots are fired; police raid to nab suspects.
A violent clash between two criminal gangs erupted in Rajasthan’s Kotputli-Behror region, with a confrontation captured on CCTV. The incident unfolded on Wednesday evening on Harsora Road in Bansur town, and footage surfaced on Friday showing the chaotic sequence. The Thar and a Swift approached from Bansur and rammed into a motorcycle carrying Mahipal Gurjar, Ghanshyam Gurjar, and Kalu, throwing them to the ground. Mahipal Gurjar drew a pistol and fired at the attackers, while the Swift tried to strike again. The bikers fled as the assailants retreated, and the two vehicles then smashed the motorcycle with iron rods, creating panic in the area. Police say the attack appears linked to an old rivalry between Mahipal Gurjar and Vinod Poswal, though the motive is still under investigation.
Eight to ten men were present in the two vehicles. A forensics team collected two empty cartridges at the scene. Authorities have launched a search operation, setting up checkpoints and conducting raids to trace those involved across Bansur, Harsora, and Basdayal. The case has prompted concerns about gang violence in the region, with police vowing strict action against those responsible.
