Congress leader Pawan Khera on Wednesday accused Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of "unleashing" the State police on him, instead of responding to questions raised by the Opposition over alleged foreign investments and multiple passports linked to Sarma’s wife.\n\nThe charge came after a team of Assam Police landed in Delhi on Tuesday and searched his flat in the Nizamuddin area, following a criminal complaint by Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, Sarma’s entrepreneur wife, who alleged that the Congress had used forged and fake documents to target her.\n\nThe clash widened as police actions continued and Sarma's supporters urged restraint, while NSUI workers protested outside Assam Bhawan in Delhi against the visit by Assam Police to Khera's residence.
