Sharaz Ali, 40, has been found guilty at Doncaster Crown Court of murdering Bryonie Gawith and her three children, Denisty Birtle, nine, Oscar Birtle, five, and Aubree Birtle, 22 months, in a house fire in Bradford in August 2024. The fire broke out in the early hours of August 21, 2024, and investigators concluded it was started deliberately. Ali was linked to the ex-partner of Bryonie Gawith, making the attack particularly shocking for the community.
