Wilson, who had been an integral part of the masked band for nearly 30 years, since 1998, is no longer associated with the group, effective immediately. The news was first reported in late July, though the specific reasons behind Wilson's exit remain unclear. Adding to the mystery, Slipknot guitarist Jim Root shared a cryptic message on his Instagram story shortly after, saying, “Don’t believe everything you read. Stop. Think. Take a breath. Wilson's departure marks another significant change in Slipknot's lineup over recent years.
