A$AP Rocky heads across continents with a world tour that unleashes all six alter-egos from Don’t Be Dumb, kicking off in Chicago this spring.
A$AP Rocky has announced the Don’t Be Dumb World Tour, his first studio album in eight years. The international trek kicks off May 27 in Chicago and will run through Sept. 30 in Paris, spanning North America and Europe. The 42-date tour will feature appearances from all six alter-egos Rocky introduced on the album — GR1M, Mr. Mayers, Rugahand, Babushka Boi, Dummy, and Shirthead — turning each show into a rotating character night.
The show imagery is described as slick and theatrical, with Tim Burton-designed artwork and on-stage cameos from music and film figures, including Damon Albarn of Gorillaz and Oscar-winning composer Danny Elfman. It’s pitched as a bold, visually rich hip-hop experience that invites fans to see Rocky in multiple guises rather than a single persona.
The North American leg includes stops in Toronto, Montreal, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Detroit, and more, with Rocky’s hometown stop set for a Governors Ball appearance in 2026. The European leg kicks off in August, sending the alter-ego ensemble across venues from the continent to wrap in Paris.
Rocky teased new material on a recent Saturday Night Live appearance, giving live debuts of “Punk Rocky,” “Don’t Be Dumb / Trip,” and “Baby Helicopter.” The blend of music and performance art signals a tour that’s less about a standard rap show and more about a touring multimedia event.
General ticket sales are on tap for Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. local time, with presale starting Jan. 23 via the official A$AP Rocky website. Fans should expect a high-energy, ever-evolving performance that keeps the audience guessing which alter-ego will take the stage next.
