Disney+ is gearing up for a grand November with the highly anticipated premiere of its new K-drama, "The Remarried Empress." This 10-part series, an adaptation of the incredibly popular Naver Webtoon, which boasts nearly three billion views, promises a saga of love, betrayal, and political power struggles. Fans can mark their calendars for a four-episode debut on November 4, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday, concluding with the finale on November 25.

The drama plunges viewers into the opulent world of Empress Navier and Emperor Sovieshu of the Eastern Kingdom. Their marriage takes a dramatic turn when Sovieshu falls for Rashta, a runaway slave, and openly pursues her affections. In a shocking twist, Navier agrees to her husband's demand for a divorce but on her own terms: she seeks permission to marry a rival monarch, Crown Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.

This bold move sets off a chain of events, escalating into a fierce battle for love and political standing that threatens to destabilize the entire kingdom as Navier fights to reclaim her dignity and power.

The star-studded cast brings these complex characters to life.

Shin Mina, known for her roles in "Karma" and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," embodies Empress Navier. Ju Jihoon, from "Light Shop," plays the conflicted Emperor Sovieshu.

Lee Jongsuk, acclaimed for "Big Mouth," steps into the shoes of Crown Prince Heinrey, while Lee Seyoung, from "The Red Sleeve," portrays the pivotal character of Rashta.

Behind the scenes, Yeoh Geena and Hyun Choongyeol adapted the compelling story for the screen, with Cho Suwon, director of "Still 17," at the helm.
