He further elaborated, "I look at what I can do to make sure that that doesn't happen to other people."

The comedic duo, known for films like "Pineapple Express," "This Is the End," and "The Interview," had been frequent collaborators since their early days on the TV series "Freaks and Geeks." Their last film project together was "The Disaster Artist" in 2017, for which Franco won a Golden Globe.
