Veteran Bollywood star Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning and will continue his recovery at home, his treating team confirmed. The 89-year-old actor’s family has opted for home treatment, emphasizing privacy during this period.
Sunny Deol's team posted a note asking media and the public to refrain from speculation and to respect the family's privacy, while thanking everyone for the love, prayers, and good wishes. An ambulance was seen leaving the hospital and heading toward Sunny Deol's residence in Juhu as the family prepared to welcome him home.
Earlier this week, some media reports claimed Dharmendra had died, which his family dismissed. Daughter Esha wrote on Instagram that her father is stable and recovering, and urged followers to give the family space. Dr. Pratit Samdani, who treated him, confirmed the discharge and the plan for home-based care.
