The mission emphasised the vital work of explosive ordnance disposal teams in re-establishing links with positions and ensuring security in the area.\n\nIndia issued a stern condemnation, paying homage to the fallen Blue Helmets and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded. The government highlighted India's long-standing contribution to global peacekeeping and its commitment to the safety of those serving under the Blue Helmet.\n\nUNIFIL launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and called on the Government of Lebanon to investigate and hold perpetrators accountable.
