In the Darnytskyi district, debris landed in the yard of a residential building and on the grounds of an educational facility, with a car catching fire from falling fragments. In the Dniprovskyi district, debris damaged three apartment buildings and a private household, and a fire broke out in an open area. In the Podilskyi district, five residential buildings and a nonresidential structure were damaged as fires spread across sites in the city.
Across Kyiv, authorities reported damage to critical infrastructure and private homes, along with injuries to civilians as the attack continued into the morning. Officials urged residents to remain in shelters until air raid alerts were lifted and to stay away from windows and balconies as aftershocks and secondary fires were possible.
The scale and intensity of the assault prompted a wave of concern about civilian safety and the city’s ability to restore services quickly.
