London Primrose Hill stabbing: man arrested on suspicion of murder
Finbar Sullivan was fatally stabbed at Primrose Hill as police detain a man on suspicion of murder. A second victim was injured; investigation continues.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of Finbar Sullivan, who was stabbed in Primrose Hill, north London. Mr Sullivan, 21, was found with stab wounds after police were called to reports of a fight at the London viewpoint on Tuesday at around 6:41pm. He later died at the scene. Police said a 25-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both men remain in police custody for questioning.
A second victim, aged in his 20s, was found nearby in Regent’s Park Road with knife wounds and was taken to hospital. Officers later confirmed his injuries were non-life-threatening. Mr Sullivan was a filmmaking student at the London Screen Academy and produced music videos for drill rap artists under the name Sully Shot It.
Speaking to relatives and friends, officials outlined that Sullivan had ambitions to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, a renowned cameraman who worked on major film projects. Police urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward, as investigators continue to work around the clock to trace everyone involved. A woman who recorded the fight where Sullivan was stabbed had previously been asked to contact investigators to share vital evidence. Detectives leading the inquiry said their thoughts are with Sullivan’s family as they pursue answers about what happened and why.
