In a rally held in Haldia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out six guarantees for West Bengal if the BJP wins the assembly elections, signaling a hard stance against corruption and a push for development with accountability at the core. He framed the vision around the party’s guiding principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, emphasizing that progress must go hand in hand with responsibility.\n\nFirst, Modi said the BJP government would replace fear with trust and restore confidence in the rule of law, pledging a climate where citizens feel secure. Second, he asserted that the new government would be answerable to the people, ensuring transparency in its actions and decision-making. Third, files related to corruption, injustice, and rape cases against girls would be reopened, signaling a pursuit of justice that cuts across ranks. Fourth, he claimed that anyone involved in corruption during the Trinamool era would be jailed, including ministers and police officials, with a firm warning that no Trinamool goon would survive and public money would not be looted again.\n\nFifth, the refugees would receive facilities as per the constitution while infiltrators would be deported and not allowed to stay in India. Sixth, Modi added that government employees and teachers in Bengal who have faced intimidation would be protected, and he pledged to implement the Seventh Pay Commission if the BJP comes to power, signaling a fiscal commitment to state workers.
