TG EAPCET 2026 Phase 1 Results OUT! 79,891 Seats Allotted

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment results have been officially released. Following the web option modifications after the mock allotment that concluded on July 7, the Commissioner of Technical Education announced the final seat allocations on Friday. This marks a crucial step for thousands of students aspiring to pursue higher education in the state.

A significant 79,891 seats, representing 90.7% of the total available, were filled across 176 institutions. This includes 152 private engineering colleges, highlighting a strong demand for professional courses. Out of a grand total of 88,053 seats, 8,162 seats remained vacant after this initial phase of counselling. Interestingly, there were changes in college and branch preferences for 35,402 candidates between the mock and final allotments, demonstrating the dynamic nature of the selection process. However, 8,691 candidates who exercised their options unfortunately could not secure an allotment in this phase.

The Economic Weaker Section (EWS) quota saw 6,335 candidates successfully securing seats. A total of 87 colleges, comprising eight universities and 79 private institutions, achieved a 100% admission rate, indicating high demand for these particular institutions. Core engineering branches, as expected, also witnessed full allotment. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) proved to be the most sought-after course, filling a maximum of 27,990 seats. This was closely followed by Computer Science and Engineering [Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning] with 13,732 seats, and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with 10,593 seats. In total, 22 courses achieved 100% allotment.

Gender-wise, male candidates secured 43,784 seats (54.8%), while female candidates were allotted 36,107 seats (45.2%). The category-wise distribution of allotted candidates showed BC-B leading with 16,723 seats, followed by the Open Category with 16,053, BC-D with 14,305, ST with 8,012, and SC-II with 7,778 seats. All candidates are advised to visit the official website, tgeapcet.nic.in, for specific instructions regarding fee payment and the self-reporting system. The deadline for completing all payments is July 14, and candidates must physically report to their allotted colleges between July 25 and 28.
