Ajay Banga Named to Gaza 'Board of Peace' Under Trump Plan

A new founding Executive Board for the Gaza redevelopment effort, dubbed the Board of Peace, was announced as part of a broader comprehensive plan to end the conflict. To establish security and a durable terror-free environment, Major General Jasper Jeffers has been appointed Commander of the International Stabilisation Force, responsible for leading security operations, supporting comprehensive demilitarisation, and enabling the safe delivery of humanitarian aid and reconstruction materials. The White House stressed a continued commitment to the transitional framework, working in close partnership with Israel, key Arab nations, and the international community to achieve the plan's objectives.
